  1. Every producer who sells any eggs by way of retail shall keep a record of all retail sales made by him showing in respect of each transaction the name and address of the purchaser and the place and date of delivery. All such records shall at all reasonable times be open to inspection by any officer of the Internal Marketing Division of the Marketing Department or by any other person who is for the time being authorized under and for the purposes of Regulation 30 of the Egg Marketing Regulations 1940§.

  2. Every person who commits a breach of or fails to comply with any of the terms of this notice is guilty of an offence and is liable accordingly to the penalties prescribed by Regulation 9 of the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1942.*

Notice under the Oil Fuel Emergency Regulations 1939 relating to the Sale of Motor-spirit

P
URSUANT to the powers conferred on him by the Oil Fuel Emergency Regulations 1939, the Oil Fuel Controller does hereby direct that no motor-spirit shall be sold or delivered under the authority of the coupon issued pursuant to the said regulations for the month of July, 1944 (being the coupon numbered 1 in the 1944–45 series), unless the purchaser of the motor-spirit endorses on the back of the said coupon his signature and the registration plate number of the motor-vehicle to the tank of which the motor-spirit is supplied by the seller. No motor-spirit shall be supplied in pursuance of any such coupon except directly into the tank of a motor-vehicle.

OTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the New Zealand Federated Shipwrights’ and Boatbuilders’ Industrial Association of Workers, registered No. 1495, situated at Auckland, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial association after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Taking of Fish for Sale

W. D. Caldwell, Opua, Bay of Islands, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 20 ft. fishing-vessel “Daphne” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Opua.

W. O. Cook, Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his fishing-vessel “Ailsa” (not yet registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Kerikeri.

L. Sands, P.O. Box 61, Russell, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 30 ft. fishing-vessel “Lady Gwen” (not yet registered), using long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Russell.

A. D. Reid, 23 Forresbank Avenue, Dunedin, has applied for a license to permit him to operate his 48 ft. 60 h.p. engined launch “Aurora” (not yet registered), using trawl-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Port Chalmers.

J. Selwyn and E. Selwyn, Cleve Road, Green Bay, Auckland, have applied for licenses to permit them to operate their 15 ft. row-boat (to be named and registered), using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Blockhouse Bay, Manakau Harbour.

John Kaalund, Ltd., Tauranga, have applied for a variation of their existing license in respect of their fishing-vessel “Sylvia K,” TA. 498, using purse-seine nets, so as to permit them to also use set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Tauranga for supply to their own canning factory as at present.

Fish Retailing

Mrs. L. G. Machado, King Street, Hikurangi, has applied for a fish-retailer’s license to permit her to sell wet fish from shop premises situated at the above address.

Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than 20th July, 1944, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Sale by Wholesale and by Retail of Fish

T. F. Kerr, 217 Harris Street, Gisborne, has applied for a fish-wholesaler’s license at Gisborne and a fish-retailer’s license to enable sales of fish to be effected to the public at the wharf and/or adjacent to the wharf at Gisborne.

Sale by Wholesale of Fish

Messrs. Barnao and Moleta, 118 Gladstone Road, Gisborne, have applied for a fish-wholesaler’s license at Gisborne.

Persons considering themselves materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should make any desired representations in writing not later than 15th July, 1944, to G. L. O’Halloran, Secretary, Bureau of Industry, G.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
