Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Area
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Benjamin Roberts, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purpose of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 12th day of July, 1944.
SCHEDULE
PARAPARAUMU-WAIKANAE BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA
All that area of land situated within the Horowhenua County and the Hutt County, and bounded by a line commencing at the point on the sea-coast due west of the south-west corner of Section 47, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District; then following the sea-coast in a northerly direction to the north-west corner of Lot 6, D.P. 3246, Block V, Kaitawa Survey District; then in a straight line in an easterly direction to the north-east corner of Section 7, Block VI, Kaitawa Survey District; then in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of this Section 7 to its south-east corner; then easterly along the northern boundaries of Section C No. 41, Block VI, Kaitawa Survey District, and Section 60, Block X, and Sections 1 and 4, Block XI, Kaitawa Survey District, to the north-east corner of this section aforesaid; then in a straight line in a southerly direction to the south-east corner of Section 1, Block XV, Kaitawa Survey District; then from this point in a straight line in a westerly direction following the southern boundary of the aforesaid Section 1, Block XV, and the southern boundary of Section 38, Block X, Kaitawa Survey District, to the north-east corner of Section C 17, Block XIV, Kaitawa Survey District; then along the eastern and then southern boundaries of the aforesaid Section C 17 and the eastern and southern boundaries of C 13 to the north-east corner of Section C 8, Block XIV, Kaitawa Survey District; then southerly along the eastern boundary of Section (part) C 8, along the south-east boundary of Section C 6, Block XIII, Kaitawa Survey District; then in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 14 and 13, Block I, Paekakariki Survey District; then easterly along the southern boundary of Section 13 aforesaid to its southernmost corner; from this point in a southerly direction to the south-west corner of Section 1, Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District; then westerly along the northern boundaries of Section 2, Block IX, Sections 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Block VII, Paekakariki Survey District; then northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 64, 66, and Part 102, Block VII, Paekakariki Survey District, to the north-east corner of the last-mentioned section; from this point along the northern boundary of Section (part) 102 aforesaid; then northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 48 and 50, Block VI, and Section 48, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District; then along the northern boundary of this Section 48, Block III, in a westerly direction to the original point of commencement.

Redefining a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Benjamin Roberts, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purpose of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule; and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 12th day of July, 1944.
SCHEDULE
TE KAUWHATA - WAERANGA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA
ALL that area of land lying within the Counties of Waikato and Raglan, and bounded by a line commencing at the south-west corner of Section 35, Block VIII, Rangiriri Survey District; then following a straight line in a south-westerly direction across the Waikato River to the south-east corner of Section (part) 61, Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District; then in a straight line in a north-westerly direction to the north-west corner of Section (part) 61, Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District, on the eastern shore of Lake Roto Ngaro; then following the eastern and then northern shores of the Lake Roto Ngaro to the south-east corner of Section 2, Block VI, Rangiriri Survey District; then along the southern boundary of this Section 2 to the south-west corner of this Section 2, Block VI, on the eastern shore of Whangape Lake; then following the eastern and then northern shores of Whangape Lake to the point where the Awaroa Stream enters the said lake; then in a straight line in a north-western direction to the point where the Tikotiko Stream crosses the western boundary of Block I, Rangiriri Survey District; then northerly along the said boundary to the point where this boundary meets the Opuatia Stream; then following the Opuatia Stream in an easterly and then northerly direction to the Waikato River; then following the Waikato River in a northerly direction to the point where the Maramarua River enters the Waikato River; then from this point on the eastern side of the Waikato River following the Maramarua River upstream to the point on the southern bank where it meets the boundary between Sections 41 and 42, Block III, Maramarua Survey District; then in a straight line to the south-east corner of Section 41, Block IV, Maramarua Survey District; from this point in a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the Puketoka Trig. Station No. 1530; then continuing in a straight line in a south-easterly direction to the south-east corner of Section 24, Block VI, Piako Survey District, on the eastern boundary of the Waikato County; then following this boundary in a southerly direction to the southernmost corner of Section 487, Block III, Hapuakohe Survey District; then from this point in a straight line in a south-westerly direction to the south-east corner of Block VIII, Rangiriri Survey District; then from this point in a straight line in a westerly direction to the south-west corner of Section 35, Block VIII, Rangiriri Survey District, being the original point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that

Public Notice, as to Retail Sales of Eggs by Producers, given under the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1943
PURSUANT to the powers conferred on me by the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1942,* and the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1942, Amendment No. 1†, I hereby give directions, in accordance with the provisions of this notice, with respect to retail sales of eggs by producers.
NOTICE
-
THIS notice may be cited as the Retail Sales of Eggs by Producers Notice 1944, and shall come into force on the 10th day of July 1944.

(1) The Sale of Eggs Notice 1943, No. 1‡, is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said notice shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this notice.
- In this notice—
“Director” means the Director of the Internal Marketing Division of the Marketing Department:
“Householder” means the occupier of premises used exclusively or in part as a dwellinghouse, and includes the occupier of any part of any premises used as a separate dwelling:
“Producer” means the occupier of a poultry-run registered under the Poultry-runs Registration Act, 1933:
“Week” means a period of seven consecutive days.
- (1) Except with the authority of the Director no producer shall—
(a) Sell eggs by way of retail to any person who is not a householder; or
(b) Deliver to any person who is not a householder any eggs sold by him by way of retail; or
(c) Deliver to any householder, in terms of any retail sale, more than twelve eggs in any one week.
(2) Except with the authority of the Director, no person other than a householder shall purchase eggs by way of retail from any producer, and no householder shall purchase eggs by way of retail from any producer except for the purposes of or for use in his own household, or shall take delivery in any week of more than twelve eggs purchased by him by way of retail from any producer or from any two or more producers.
