Amendments
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 32, dated 20th April, 1944, page 381, under the heading "General Duties Branch-Promotions", relating to "Flying Officer Edward Albert LETCHFORD", is amended to read "Dated 23rd June, 1943".
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 94, dated 28th October, 1943, page 1258, under the heading "General Duties Branch-Appointments: As Air Bombers", relating to "NZ 425976 Flight Sergeant Davy George BLACKMORE", is amended to read "Dated 28th March, 1944".

Amendments
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 80, dated the 9th September, 1943, page 1099, under the heading "Equipment Branch, Section II-Appointment", relating to "NZ 40816 Corporal Daniel Clements COLMORE-WILLIAMS", is amended to read "Dated 6th July, 1943".
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13, dated 24th February, 1944, page 192, under the heading "Equipment Branch, Section II: Technical Officers-Promotions-Signals Duties", relating to "Daniel Clements COLMORE-WILLIAMS", is amended to read "Dated 6th January, 1944".
ADMINISTRATIVE AND SPECIAL DUTIES BRANCH
Transfers
Flying Officer Norman GREGORY is transferred from the Equipment Branch, Section II-Technical Officers, to the Administrative and Special Duties Branch in his present rank and seniority. Dated 9th May, 1944.
Pilot Officer Herbert Edwin MANNING is transferred from the General Duties Branch to the Administrative and Special Duties Branch in his present rank and seniority. Dated 19th May, 1944.
Relinquishment
Flying Officer George Alexander MACGREGOR is permitted to relinquish his temporary commission. Dated 15th May, 1944.

Native Interpreters appointed

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to authorize Rongomaiwhiti Winiata, of Rotorua, Hira Paenga, of Whangara, Gisborne, and Alexander Te Wawau Gordon, of Rotorua, to act as Interpreters of the First Grade under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1931, and the regulations made thereunder.

Appointing Commissioners of the Lower Clutha River Trust
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3, subsection (1), of the Lower Clutha River Improvement Act, 1938, I, Robert Semple, the Minister of Works, do hereby appoint--
Charles Langbein, of Dunedin, Civil Engineer, Andrew Alex Jensen, of Stirling, Farmer, and John Graham Weir, of Stirling, Farmer, to be Commissioners of the Lower Clutha River Trust.
