HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, relinquishments of commissions, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces:—

N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF

Temp. Major S. W. B. Brooker, M.C., V.D., to be temp. Lieutenant-Colonel whilst employed as Commandant of a camp. Dated 6th May, 1944.

Temp. Major E. J. Browning is posted to the Retired List with the rank of Major. Dated 31st May, 1944.

Temp. Captain B. H. Tosswill, M.C., to be temp. Major. Dated 1st May, 1944.

Temp. Captain R. Wardell relinquishes the appointment of Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General, dated 20th December, 1943, and is posted to the Retired List with the rank of Captain, dated 31st December, 1943.
