Lands permanently reserved in the North Auckland, Auckland,
Gisborne, Taranaki, Wellington, and Westland Land Districts

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the
Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General
may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral license,
any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned :
And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the
said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the
said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of
one month, but not later than six months, after the publication in
the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently
reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be
published in the Gazette :
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto were,
by the Warrant dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and published in the Gazette
of the thirtieth day of that month, temporarily reserved under the
authority of the said Act for the purposes in the Schedule of the
said Warrant specified at the end of the respective descriptions of
the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do
hereby permanently reserve the lands described in the Schedule
hereto for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end
of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be
permanently reserved for which purposes the said lands were so
temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Section 2, Block I, Kawakawa Survey District : Area, 10 acres,
more or less. (Cemetery.)
Allotment 138, Parish of Whangarei : Area, 3 acres 2 roods
20 perches, more or less. (Recreation.)
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Section 15, Block IX, Whaingaroa Survey District : Area,
2 roods 37·7 perches, more or less. (Public-school site.)
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
All that area containing 37 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less,
being Section 32 (formerly part of Section 31), Block X, Hangaroa
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 4/908c, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
Section 12, Block VI, Upper Waitara Survey District : Area,
3 roods 24·4 perches, more or less. (Public-school site.)
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that area situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 8·51 perches, more or less, being
Lot 46 on Survey Office plan 20427, being part of Section 119, Hutt
District, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title,
Volume 473, folio 240 (Wellington Registry). As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/5c,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Recreation.)
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
Section 18, Town of Waiho Gorge : Area, 1 rood and 3·9 perches,
more or less. (Railway.)
Reserve 1830, Block VII, Mawheranui Survey District : Area,
