LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Levin Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a special loan of three thousand four hundred and fifty
pounds (£3,450), authorized to be raised by the Levin Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reimbursing
to the Council's General Account the amount expended
therefrom on making extensions and improvements to the Levin
Municipal Abattoir, and to pay for the cost of the completion thereof,
the Levin Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one-eleventh (1/11th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in
the Borough of Levin; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a
period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

LUXOR COURTS, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of
Luxor Courts, Limited (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting
of the above-named company, held in Dunedin on the 17th
day of January, 1944, the following special resolution was passed:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily."

By ordinary resolution Mr. LEONARD MILLAR, Accountant, of
Dunedin, was appointed liquidator.
All those having claims against the company are requested to
forward particulars of such claims by the 2nd day of February, 1944.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that JEFFERY'S PHARMACY, LIMITED,
has changed its name to BUNDLE'S PHARMACY, LIMITED, and
that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies
in place of the former name.
