IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the assignment to the Strongman Electric Supply Company, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1933, having its registered office in Kaponga Road, Coromandel, by John George Strongman, of Coromandel, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2 of the eighth day of the same month, at page 9, authorizing him to erect electric lines in portion of the County of Coromandel.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the assignment to Alfred Edmond Borgfeldt, of Rai Valley, Tea-room Proprietor, by Francis Leonard Taylor, of Rai Valley, of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 89 of the fifth day of the same month, at page 3587, authorizing Leonard Cooper, of Rai Valley, to erect electric lines in the Township of Rai Valley, which rights, powers, and privileges were previously assigned by the said Leonard Cooper to the said Francis Leonard Taylor.

Foreshore License, Panmure.—Panmure Yacht and Boating Club (Incorporated)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance of the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Panmure Yacht and Boating Club (Incorporated), of Auckland (hereinafter called “the club,” which term shall include its executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy, as sites for a clubhouse, a protecting wall, and two grids, those parts of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Panmure on the Tamaki River, shown on plans marked M.D. 7317, M.D. 7787, M.D. 7942, and M.D. 8121, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such license to be held and enjoyed by the club upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 22nd November, 1943.

  3. The premium payable by the club shall be one pound (£1), and the annual sum so payable five shillings (5s.).

Foreshore License.—Wharves on the Awaroa Stream and at Glen Murray on the Opuatia Stream, Raglan County

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Raglan County Council (hereinafter called “the Council,” which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore on the Awaroa Stream and at Glen Murray on the Opuatia Stream, Raglan County, as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 4592, and 4593 and 4650 respectively, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining wharves thereon, as shown on the said plans, such license to be held and enjoyed by the Council upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and doth prescribe that all the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the Council for the use of the said wharves.

FIRST SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulation shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The annual sum payable by the Council shall be one shilling (1s.), payable on demand.

  3. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 3rd day of April, 1944.

  4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharves shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Storage

The owner of all goods remaining in the shed after four days shall pay to the Council storage at the rate of 2s. 6d. per ton or part of a ton for every week or part of a week.

General

No person shall remove goods from the wharf or shed to the shore, nor from the wharf or shed to a vessel, until all dues payable thereon have been paid to the Council.

The owner of all goods shall place such goods on the wharf or in the shed as directed by the Council or persons authorized on its behalf.
