Access is by metalled road. Approximately 80 acres ploughed and regrassed, balance fairly steep country reverted to fern and scrub. The soil is light loam on sandstone formation; watered by streams. The property is subdivided into fourteen paddocks. Ragwort is fairly prevalent.

Land in Nelson Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Nelson, 28th March, 1944.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease (term, thirty-three years with perpetual right of renewal at revaluation) under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 11th April, 1944.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Nelson, on Wednesday, 12th April, 1944, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands. Applicants are required to produce documentary evidence of their farming experience and financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND
Borough of Westport.—Town of Westport
SECTION 1146 (formerly part Section 486): Area, 16 perches. Capital value, £20. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, 10s. Weighted with £6 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising 2½ chains fencing and a small fowlhouse.
Section 1147 (formerly part Section 486): Area, 12 perches. Capital value, £15. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, 7s. 6d.
These sections are building-sites in the Borough of Westport. Section 1146 is situated fronting Fonblanque Street and Section 1147 has frontages to Fonblanque and Russell Streets.

Small Grazing-run in Otago Land District for Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Dunedin, 28th March, 1944.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned small grazing-run is open for lease under the provisions of Part V of the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 11th April, 1944.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 12th April, 1944, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position and farming experience.

RUN 530: Area, 13,700 acres. Half-yearly rent, £65.
Weighted with £1,415 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising dwelling, four rooms and bathroom; wool-shed; yards; drafting yards; old shed; hut and garage; water-race; plantation; fencing.
This sheep-run is situated twenty miles from Omarama Township and fifty-five miles from Kurow by reasonably good gravel road. Approximately 4,000 acres fairly flat land and approximately 9,700 acres hill country, 2,000 acres of which are barren shingle faces. The whole area is in natural state, mainly tussock. Watered by streams running into Lake Ohau.

NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before 1st May, 1944:—
