The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies :
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 28th day of February, 1944, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, I, Clarence Farringdon Skinner, Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, do hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and I hereby specify the 15th day of April, 1944, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
FIRST, all that parcel of land containing eight (8) acres three (3) roods twenty-eight (28) perches, more or less, being part of Lot Nine (9) on Deeds Plan 778, being part of Block 49, Patangata Crown Grant District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 25, folio 200 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).
Secondly, all that parcel of land containing fifty-nine (59) acres three (3) roods thirty-five point two (35·2) perches, more or less, situated in Blocks VII, VIII, and XI, Waipukurau Survey District, being parts of Block 37, Patangata Crown Grant District, and also part of Lot J on a subdivisional plan of the said Block 37, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 25, folio 101 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).
Thirdly, all that parcel of land containing fifteen (15) acres and three (3) perches, more or less, situated in Blocks XI and XII, Waipukurau Survey District, being Lots Two (2) and Three (3) on Deposited Plan 4988, being part of Block 37, Patangata Crown Grant District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 25, folio 87 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).

And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, I, Clarence Farringdon Skinner, Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, do hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and I hereby specify the 1st day of April, 1944, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing sixty (60) acres one (1) rood eleven (11) perches, more or less, being part of Section Nine (9), Tikorangi District, situated in Block Five (V), Waitara Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 128, folio 94 (Taranaki Registry), limited as to parcels.
As witness my hand, this 28th day of March, 1944.

ALL that parcel of land containing five (5) acres, more or less, being part Lot Three (3) on Deposited Plan 13990, being portion of Allotment One Hundred and Eleven (111), Parish of Te Papa, and being the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 386, folio 135 (Auckland Registry).

The Hastings Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 2
PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:

This notice may be cited as the Hastings Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Hastings Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).

Clause (6) of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “R. Ryan” (relating to the delivery of milk in Zone No. 9), and substituting therefor the following:
“James Hill, Hastings”:

The Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942, amended
PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :

This notice shall be read together with and deemed part of the Dunedin Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).

Clause 3 of the principal scheme is hereby amended—
(a) By revoking the words “W. Ward, Brockville” (relating to the delivery of milk in Zone No. 3), and substituting therefor the following:
“W. B. and G. F. Ward, Brockville” ; and
(b) By transferring from Zone No. 31 the following places to a zone to be known as “Zone No. 31A”:
All of Gloucester Street and Nos. 1, 7, 15, and 46 Spencer Street, in Anderson’s Bay; and
(c) By adding to the table in clause 3 the following:
“G. Sinclair, Gloucester Street, Anderson’s Bay | In the zone numbered 31A— namely, all of Gloucester Street and Nos. 1, 7, 15, and 46 Spencer Street, in Anderson’s Bay.”
