CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1080, Block X, Oxford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the west by a public road, 705.5 links and 589.7 links; towards the north by a public road, 1587.7 links; and towards the south-east by Four Chain Road, 808.0 links and 1011.1 links.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being part Reserve 1080, Block X, Oxford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the west by Rural Section 3599, 438.8 links; towards the north by Section 12, Reserve 1080, 564.8 links; towards the south-east by other part Reserve 1080, 220.2 links and 256.1 links; and again towards the south-east by a public road, 269.9 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/99/25D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the Gazette of the ninth day of that month, Reserve 3783, Block II, Lyndon Survey District, was brought under the operation of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908: And whereas by a further Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-third day of that month, the control thereof was duly vested in the Minister of the Crown charged with the administration of the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid Orders in Council should be revoked in so far as they relate to the land described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Orders in Council of the second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and the thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, aforesaid, in so far as they relate to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 19.6 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 3783, Block II, Lyndon Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by other part of Reserve 3783, 92.49 links; towards the east by Conical Hill Road, 93.02 links; towards the south-east by Jacks Pass Road, 38.0 links, 37.9 links, and 40.2 links; and towards the west by Reserve 3781, 158.3 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 53102, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Hastings Borough Council

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1944

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings, in trust, for recreation purposes.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Borough of Hastings, containing by admeasurement 27.08 perches, more or less, being Lot 3 as shown on S.O. plan 1929 (red), deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, being part Heretaunga Block, and being also part Lot 1, D.P. 6545. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Haldane Public Hall Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1944
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act) in the undermentioned persons, namely:—
William John Weir,
Albert Wybrow,
Robert Casey,
William Thomas Connor (jun.), and
Robert Henry Sparke,
who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Haldane Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the last Wednesday in each month at eight o'clock p.m. at the Haldane Public Hall, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four.

The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at the meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purpose of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Haldane and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said building as may from time to time be determined by the Board: Provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said building.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
Lot 1, D.P. 3407, being part Section 3, Block X, Waikawa Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 149, folio 265 (Southland Registry): Area, 1 rood 8 perches, more or less.
