NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on
the 23rd day of February, 1944, presented to the said Court by
Amalgamated Farmers Supplies, Limited (in liquidation), and
that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court
sitting at Auckland on the 31st day of March, 1944, at ten o’clock
in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said
company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order
on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person
or by his counsel for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will
be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company
requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated
charge for same.

Auckland, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their
solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent
by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s
address for service not later than four o’clock in the afternoon of
the 30th day of March, 1944.

WAIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works
Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waihemo County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the taking of land
for a gravel reserve in the County of Waihemo—and for the purposes
of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a
plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Ronaldsay
Street, Palmerston, and is open for inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the
County Clerk at the County Chambers, Ronaldsay Street, Palmerston.
