In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 25.3 perches.
Being part Sections 73 and 74, being Lot 2.
Situated in Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. plan 1061 Tn.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plans marked P.W.D. 104466, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the piece of stopped Government road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of stopped Government road directed to be sold : 3 roods 14 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Section 66 and closed road, Takaka District.
Situated in Block V, Waitapu Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9231.)

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint The Howick Town Board to be the Stockade Hill Public Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Howick Town Board Office as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint The member for the Mairetahi Riding, Waitemata County Council, ex officio,
The member for the Kaukapakapa Riding, Waitemata County Council, ex officio,
One member of the Helensville Town Board to be elected by that body from time to time,
Archibald Grant Curel,
Harold Phillip McLeod,
Alfred Isaac McLeod,
Robert Edward Constable,
Louis Phillip McLeod, and
John Anthony Alfred Keane to be the Shelly Beach Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Board Office, Helensville, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SHELLY BEACH DOMAIN.-NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All those areas in the Waitemata County, containing by admeasurement 30 acres 2 roods 15 perches and 2 roods 35 perches, being respectively portions of Aotearoa Block shown on plans 8688, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; and 21211 (blue), deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, North Auckland Land District, at Auckland, and bounded as follows : Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Lot 2 of part of Aotearoa Block, containing 38 acres 3 roods, shown on plan 9056, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the north by a public road, 366.3, 471.7, and 555.7 links, to high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour; thence towards the east by the said high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour for a distance of 550 links; thence towards the south by a line bearing 245Β° 55', distant 110 links, to the western boundary of portion of Aotearoa Block, shown on aforementioned plan 21211 (blue); thence towards the east by the aforesaid western boundary of portion of Aotearoa Block, 80 and 546.1 links, to high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour; thence towards the east and south by the aforesaid high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour to the eastern boundary of Lot 2 of portion of Aotearoa Block shown on plan 9056, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence towards the west by the aforesaid Lot 2 by distances of 420.7 and 1992.4 links to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/478, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Waitemata County, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, situated in Block V, Kaipara Survey District, being part of Aotearoa Block, bounded: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of part of Aotearoa Block on D.P. 8688; thence towards the west by aforesaid part of Aotearoa Block, 546.1 links and 80 links; towards the north by another part of Aotearoa Block following a right line bearing 65Β° 55', distance 110 links; and towards the east and south by the Kaipara Harbour. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/478A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Changing the Purpose of Reserves in Waitemata Survey District, North Auckland Land District

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are reserves duly set apart for plantation purposes :
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such lands shall be changed to reserves for access purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from reserves for plantation purposes to reserves for access purposes.
