Personnel of Armed Forces Appeal Boards
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, I, Angus McLagan, Minister of National Service, do hereby give notice that I have appointed—
Sydney Tackle, Esquire, to be a deputy member of the No. 1 Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Auckland, as from the 24th day of November, 1943;
Charles Henry Moltzen, Esquire, to be a deputy member of the No. 4 Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Hamilton, as from the 10th day of September, 1943;
John Cooke, Esquire, to be a member of the No. 10B Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Timaru, as from the 19th day of August, 1943;
Frederick Ernest Stewart, Esquire, to be a deputy member of the No. 10B Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Timaru, as from the 6th day of September, 1943;
such persons to hold office during my pleasure.
And, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers referred to above, I do hereby revoke the following appointments:—
John Cooke, Esquire, deputy member of the No. 10B Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Timaru, as from the 19th day of August, 1943.
Fred Cole, Esquire, member of the No. 7A Armed Forces Appeal Board, with headquarters at Masterton, as from the 1st day of November, 1943.

Appointment of Officers for the Purposes of the Fisheries Act, 1908

BY direction of the Hon. Minister of Marine, it is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Thomas Matthews, of Westport, and Archibald Hume Watt, of Parengarenga, to be Inspectors of Sea-fishing for the purposes of Part I of the first-mentioned Act.
William Stumbles, of Cave, to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the South Canterbury Acclimatization District.
