Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block XI, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for the Wellington-Napier Railway and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be controlled by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 3·09 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation 928.
Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 21059.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117826, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of November, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Wellington-Napier Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained and controlled by the Featherston County Council in like manner as other public highways are maintained and controlled by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 39·4 perches.
Being part Railway land, being parts Rural Sections 203 and 204, Township of Featherston.
Situated in Block VI, Wairarapa Survey District. (S.O. 20731.)

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto (which were acquired for the Foxton - Palmerston North Railway and which are no longer required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road; and that such road shall be controlled by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
