HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

Regulations for the Government and Payment of the Royal New Zealand Navy, 1939
Article 82 (Note): Cancel.
Article 230, paragraph 1: Cancel, and substitute:—
(1) Leave allowance at the rate of provision allowance in force shall be credited in the ledger to officers and ratings when checked to leave (including sick-leave) for more than forty-eight hours, except that this allowance shall not be payable in respect of week-end leave from Friday to a.m. Monday.
Article 230, paragraph 2: Cancel.

Lieutenant-Commander Cyril John Hoare, R.N. (Emergency List), lent Royal New Zealand Navy, to date 3rd July, 1943, and appointed H.M.N.Z. ship as directed, vice Hannay, to date 25th September, 1943 (granted the acting rank of Commander whilst holding this appointment).
