✨ Domain and Reserve Notices
Oct. 28] THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE who are hereby constituted for that purpose a special Board by the name of the Kumara Junction Public Hall Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), with the powers and subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the third Saturday in each month at eight o'clock p.m. in the Kumara Junction Hall or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Saturday, the 16th day of October, 1943.

The members of the Board shall at their first meeting, and thereafter at the annual meeting hereinafter mentioned, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of any such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting ; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any four members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself without reasonable cause from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve and the building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Kumara Junction and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the said hall as may from time to time be determined by the Board; provided that the Board shall have power to fix reasonable charges for the use of the said hall.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of that month appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Westshore Domain, and doth hereby appoint
The Napier Borough Council
Part Section 7, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District : Area, 9 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Crown lands for a distance of 130 links ; towards the east by a public road for a distance of 1713·7 links; towards the south-west by Beacon Reserve for distances of 584·6 links and 659·1 links respectively; and towards the north-west by high-water mark of the Inner Harbour : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/108A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Part Section 7, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District : Area, 1 rood 27 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section 2, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, for a distance of 185·1 links; towards the east by a public road for a distance of 345·7 links; towards the south by a public road for a distance of 60 links; and towards the south-west by a public road for a distance of 359·1 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/108A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Clarence Bertram Idle, Archibald William MacPhail, George Eric Mulcock, George David Wright, and Frederick George Allan Wright
to be the Wainui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wainui Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Portion of Gibson Street, in the City of Wanganui, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wanganui City Council on the third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, in so far as it affects the side and portion of the street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :-
“ That the Wanganui City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wanganui, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the street known as Gibson Street, adjoining Lot 20 on Deeds Plan 111, part Section 22, Right Bank, Wanganui River, a distance of 134.26 links”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Gibson Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
