DECLARATION REVOKING THE DISSOLUTION OF A SOCIETY

I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that the declaration made by me on the 13th day of December, 1941, dissolving the Wellington Amateur Cine Society (Incorporated) was made in error, and the said declaration is accordingly hereby revoked in pursuance of section 28, subsection (3), of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908. Dated at Wellington, this 14th day of October, 1943.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act, 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 8th day of October, 1943, cancelled the registry of St. Felix’s Branch, No. 906, of the New Zealand District of the Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society (Register No. 198/125), held at Carterton, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, known as the “Cemetery Loan (No. 2), 1943,” authorized to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a cemetery for the benefit of its district, the said Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value, being the annual value, of all rateable property of the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said City of Nelson; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 24th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Nelson City Council at its meeting held on the 23rd day of September, 1943.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Court of Appeal, dated the 27th day of August, 1943, confirming the reduction of the capital of the company from £190,163 5s. to £155,960 and the minute (approved by the Court), showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the Companies Act, 1933, were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 8th day of October, 1943: And further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures :—

That the capital of the Taupo Totara Timber Company, Limited, henceforth is £155,960 divided into—
