Additional Land at Woolston taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway (Christchurch-Lyttelton Branch)

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Christchurch-Lyttelton Branch of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway to take further land at Woolston, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, City of Christchurch.

In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7231, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of October, 1943.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
1 rood 8·44 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 12395, being part Section 73, Town of Foxton.

Situated in Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District (Borough of Foxton). (S.O. 21080.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117979, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1943.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
3·7 perches.
Being part Taupo No. 1 Block.

Situated in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District. (S.O. 20579.)

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110606, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured neutral.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of October, 1943.
