Price Order No. 162 (Amending Price Order No. 142)
(Apples and Pears)
PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 162, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 142† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”).

This Order shall come into force on the 4th day of October, 1943.

The First Schedule to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 142, Amendment No. 6‡, is hereby revoked and the following Schedule substituted therefor:—

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Southland County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1943
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel-pit purposes, and is vested in the Southland County Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Southland County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Southland County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Geraldine Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of September, 1943
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Geraldine:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Geraldine, in trust, for plantation purposes.
