A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 1 rood 33 perches.
Adjoining Allotments 41 and 46, Omapere Parish.
Situated in Block X, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32875.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117644, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Paengaroa North D 1B, D 1C, D 1H, and D 1D Blocks, Blocks III and VII, Maketu Survey District, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section ten of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of September, 1943
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve duly set apart for an endowment in aid of the borough funds for the benefit of the Borough of Alexandra :
And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
Description of Reserve authorized to be exchanged
PART of Section 10, Block VII, Town of Alexandra: Area, 16·43 perches, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23457A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Description of Land to be obtained in Exchange therefor
PART of Section 11, Block VII, Town of Alexandra: Area, 23·57 perches, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23457A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
