A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public works and that the Crown land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for public works, and that the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a public work subject, as to the strip of land nine feet wide along the western boundary thereof and shown coloured blue on plan number S.O. 20973, to the right reserved to the licensee of Section 6, Block LIX, Hutt Valley Settlement, to drain stormwater and sewerage along the said strip of land, and subject also as to the strip of land six feet wide along the southern boundary thereof, and shown coloured blue on plan number S.O. 20973, to an easement thereover for public purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
