The Feilding Meat Delivery Notice 1942, Amendment No. 1.

Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Feilding Meat Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Feilding Meat Delivery Scheme, 1942 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).
  2. The principal scheme is hereby amended by authorizing T. H. Glen, of Sherwell Street, Feilding, to deliver meat by horse-drawn vehicle to the customers served by him in the Borough of Feilding prior to the 11th day of November, 1942, as described in the list of such customers attached to the plan.

The Pahiatua Commodities Delivery Notice 1943.

Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Pahiatua Commodities Delivery Notice 1943.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the seventh day after the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE PAHIATUA COMMODITIES DELIVERY SCHEME, 1943.

(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
“Commodities” means bread and meat:
“The district” means the area of the Pahiatua Borough as at present constituted:
“Wholesale purchaser” means a person who purchases commodities for resale, or for transport to an area outside the district, or for consumption at a military camp, hotel, hospital, or similar institution requiring large supplies of commodities daily.

(2) It shall be a condition of this scheme that the commodities shall be delivered within the district to the premises of wholesale purchasers only.

(3) The names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme are as follows:—
G. Noble, Baker, Main Street, Pahiatua. A. Bentley, Baker, Sedcole Street, Pahiatua. W. J. Mills, Baker, Main Street, Pahiatua. W. H. Jensen, Butcher, Main Street, Pahiatua. A. Harrison and Co., Butchers, Main Street, Pahiatua. T. Biggar, Butcher, Main Street, Pahiatua.

The Wairoa Commodities Delivery Notice 1943.

Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Wairoa Commodities Delivery Notice 1943.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the seventh day after the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THE WAIRIOA COMMODITIES DELIVERY SCHEME, 1943.

(1) For the purpose of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
“The district” means the area within a radius of one mile and a half from the Post-office, Wairoa:
“Commodities” means bread, meat, fruit, and vegetables:
“Wholesale purchaser” means a person who purchases commodities for resale or for transport to an area outside the district or for consumption at an hotel, hospital, or similar institution requiring large supplies of commodities daily.

(2) It shall be a condition of this scheme that the commodities shall be delivered within the district to the premises of wholesale purchasers only.

(3) The names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme are as follows:—

Bread.

Messrs. Oslers, Ltd., Marine Parade, Wairoa.

Meat.

Swift (New Zealand) Co., Ltd., Wairoa. N. Summerfield, North Clyde, Wairoa. J. M. Livingston, Marine Parade, Wairoa.

Greengroceries.

W. H. Wong, Lahore Street, Wairoa.

The Delivery Schemes General Amendment Notice 1943.

Pursuant to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Delivery Schemes General Amendment Notice 1943.
  2. This notice shall come into force on the day following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
  3. In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, expressions defined in the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942* have the meanings so defined.
  4. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any of the schemes provided by the notices specified in the Schedule hereto, the conditions prescribed in those schemes are hereby respectively varied as follows:—

(a) Where the scheme relates to the delivery of meat (whether exclusively or in addition to any other commodity) in any district, meat may be delivered in that district by any vendor to any person, whether or not that person is a wholesale purchaser for the purposes of the scheme, on such three days in any week during the months of December, January, and February in each year as the Minister or a Zoning Officer shall from time to time appoint in respect of that scheme, and on such two days in any week during the months of March to November (inclusive) in each year as the Minister or a Zoning Officer shall from time to time appoint in respect of that scheme:

(b) Where the scheme relates to the delivery of groceries (whether exclusively or in addition to any other commodity) in any district, any provision of the scheme relating to the weight or measurement of any parcel shall not apply, and groceries may be delivered in that district by any vendor to any person, whether or not that person is a wholesale purchaser for the purposes of the scheme, on one occasion in any week:

(c) Where the scheme relates to the delivery of fruit and vegetables (whether exclusively or in addition to any other commodity) in any district, fruit and vegetables may be delivered in that district by any vendor to any person, whether or not that person is a wholesale purchaser for the purposes of the scheme.
