Regulations for the Government and Payment of the Royal New
Zealand Navy, 1939.

APPENDIX III.—SUBSTANTIVE RATES OF PAY: NAVAL RATINGS
AND ROYAL MARINES.

SUBJECT to the provisions of Article 130 of these regulations and
Navy Order 221, the following shall be the daily rates of pay of
Coders in the Royal New Zealand Navy :—

  • With subsequent triennial increments of 6d. per diem.
    N.B.—Non-substantive pay will not be allowed in addition to
    the above rates of pay.

Appointing a Member of the Auckland Harbour Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the Harbours Act, 1923, I, Cyril Louis Norton
Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby appoint

Bernard Martin
to be a member of the Auckland Harbour Board, as a representative
of the electors of the boroughs of Mount Eden and Mount Albert,
in the place of Hendry Luke, deceased, to hold office until the
twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
four.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 12th day of February, 1943.
