The National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Notice under Regulation 19 requiring Men, who have been called up for Service with the Armed Forces, to report

I, ALBERT EDWARD CONWAY, Adjutant-General, New Zealand Military Forces, and an authorized officer for the purpose of the above-mentioned regulations, do hereby give notice, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 19 of the said regulations, that the men whose names, addresses, and descriptions are given in the Schedule attached (being men who have been called up in accordance with the said regulations for service with the Armed Forces), are required to report at the respective times and places shown in the said Schedule.

Dated at Wellington, this 21st day of July, 1943.

Appointment of Steel Controller

IN exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939, and the Steel Emergency Regulations 1943, I, Daniel Giles Sullivan, Minister of Supply and Munitions for the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Francis Raymond Picot to be Steel Controller for the purpose of the Steel Emergency Regulations 1943.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments :—

APPOINTMENTS

Acting Air Vice-Marshal Robert Victor Goddard, C.B., C.B.E., R.A.F., relinquishes the appointment of Chief of the Air Staff and First Member of the Air Board, and also the appointment of Air Officer Commanding Royal New Zealand Air Force. Dated 19th July, 1943.

Air Commodore Leonard Monk Isitt, C.B.E., R.N.Z.A.F., is appointed Chief of the Air Staff and First Member of the Air Board, and, in addition, Air Officer Commanding Royal New Zealand Air Forces, and is granted the temporary rank of Air Vice-Marshal. Dated 19th July, 1943.

Acting Air Commodore Geoffrey Twyford Jarman, D.S.O., D.F.C., R.A.F., is appointed Deputy Chief of the Air Staff and a Member of the Air Board. Dated 19th July, 1943.
