Commissioner of the Supreme Court appointed
ALLEN CAMFIELD WINDEYER, Esquire, of 25 O'Connell Street, Sydney, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, has this day been appointed by the Right Honourable Sir Michael Myers, G.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Agreement for Grants of Easement in favour of John Craigmyle, of Wanganui, Solicitor, and Frank Montgomery Rowan, of Wanganui, Farmer, as Assignees of James Mervyn Livingston, of Wanganui, Farmer, over Land in Blocks VII and VIII, Ikitara Survey District, taken for the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway (Turakina—Okia Deviation), and for Road-diversions in connection therewith, assented to
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 28th day of January, 1941, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 6 of the 30th day of the same month, at page 129, all that piece of land containing 10 acres 1 rood 21 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 6840, being part Sections 198, 247, and 259, Left Bank, Wanganui River, situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Ikitara Survey District, was taken for the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway (Turakina—Okia Deviation), and all that piece of land containing 5 acres 3 roods 18·1 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 6840, being part Sections 198 and 247, Left Bank, Wanganui River, situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Ikitara Survey District, was taken for road-diversions in connection with the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway (Turakina—Okia Deviation):
And whereas James Mervyn Livingston, of Wanganui, Farmer, was entitled to compensation for his freehold interest in the said areas of 10 acres 1 rood 21 perches and 5 acres 3 roods 18·1 perches :
And whereas the Minister of Works agreed to grant to the said James Mervyn Livingston an easement in perpetuity to use for access purposes the subway under the aforesaid area of 10 acres 1 rood 21 perches and a permanent easement to carry water in pipes under the aforesaid area of 5 acres 3 roods 18·1 perches at one point in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid, and the said James Mervyn Livingston agreed to accept such grant in part satisfaction of such compensation :
And whereas the said James Mervyn Livingston has assigned to John Craigmyle, of Wanganui, Solicitor, and Frank Montgomery Rowan, of Wanganui, Farmer, the right to such grants of easement as aforesaid, and has requested the Minister of Works to grant the said easements to the said John Craigmyle and Frank Montgomery Rowan which the Minister has agreed to do :
Now, therefore, I, Robert Semple, the Minister of Works, do hereby give notice, in pursuance of section 97 of the Public Works Act, 1928, that I assent to the agreement for grants of easement as aforesaid.

Notice of Intention to take Additional Land in Block VI, Motatau Survey District, for a Native School
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a Native school: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Tauroa and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land required to be taken: 1 acre 0 roods 20 perches.
Being portion of Motatau 1c No. 7G Block.
Situated in Block VI, Motatau Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 32661.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 116776, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Raetihi-Ohakune Bread Delivery Notice 1943
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :—

This notice may be cited as the Raetihi-Ohakune Bread Delivery Notice 1943.

This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
THE RAETIHI-OHAKUNE BREAD DELIVERY SCHEME 1943
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
“ The district ” means the area of the Raetihi and Ohakune Boroughs at present constituted, and also the areas adjacent thereto as described in clause (3) hereof :
“ Wholesale purchaser ” means a person who purchases commodities for resale or for transport to an area outside the district, or for consumption at a military camp, hotel, hospital, or similar institution requiring large supplies daily.
(2) It shall be a condition of this scheme that—
(a) Bread shall be delivered within the boroughs of Raetihi and Ohakune to the premises of wholesale purchasers only.
(3) The following are the names and addresses of the vendors and the areas in which they may deliver outside the said boroughs :—
