WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the fifteenth day of the same month at page 1637, the Kaipara Steamship Company, of Helensville, was licensed to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Dargaville, Kaihu Creek, Northern Wairoa River, as a site for a wharf:

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said Order in Council of the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Auckland Land District

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for an athenæum:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public-hall site:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for an athenæum to a reserve for a public-hall site.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Otago Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Alexandra Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Alexandra Domain Board.
