A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 0·85 perches.
Adjoining part Section 50, Wairau West.
Situated in Block XI, Cloudy Bay Survey District (Marlborough R.D.). (S.O. R. 520/65.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105585, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1943.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Taupo and Whakatane Counties, containing approximately 8,078 acres, being part of Section 2, Block XV, Heruīwi Survey District, and being formerly known as Pohokura No. 13 Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 55/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 32014.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of July, 1943.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1592, set apart by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 172 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve 1592 (provisional State forest), situated in Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and Block XV, Waiwhero Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 3701, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and proceeding due south along the western boundary of that section to the northernmost corner of a gravel reserve; thence along the north-western boundary of the said gravel reserve to its westernmost corner; thence by right lines bearing 238° 05′ for 894·3 links, 341° 51′ 30″ for 6513·7 links, and 76° 00′ for 3780 links to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/80c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of July, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1924.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 8·51 perches, more or less, being Lot 46 on Survey Office plan 20427, being part of Section 119, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 473, folio 240 (Wellington Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/5c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 6·8 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Christchurch Survey District, and being part Lot 4, Deposited Plan 5188, and part Lot 2, Deposited Plan 11448, comprising part of Rural Section 557, and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 476, folio 152 (Canterbury Registry).
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Christchurch Survey District, and being part Lot 2, Deposited Plan 10942, comprising part of Rural Section 231 and being part of the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 449, folio 133 (Canterbury Registry). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/9, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Also all that area in the Borough of Huntly, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 10·5 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 4 to 10 inclusive, Block III, on D.P. 9386, being part Allotment 8, Taupiri Parish, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 718, folio 203 (Auckland Land Registry).
