and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the tenth
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three,
viz.:
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local autho-
rity having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
shall not apply to the south-western side of the portion
of Edgar Street adjoining Allotment 9, Township of
Wakari Extension, such land being comprised and
described in Certificate of Title 152/46”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the south-western side of portion of Edgar Street (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE
THE south-western side of all that portion of street in the
Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Edgar
Street, fronting Allotment 9, D.P. 532, Township of Wakari
Extension, being part Section 106, Wakari District. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 117088, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Waikouaiti, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-
line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
approve of the following resolution passed by the Waikouaiti
County Council on the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-three, the side and portion of road affected by
such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule
hereto, viz.:
“That the Waikouaiti County Council, being the local
authority having control of the roads in the Waikouaiti County,
by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply
to that portion of road adjoining part of Section 48, Block IV,
Waikouaiti Survey District”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of
the portion of public road (described in the Schedule hereto) within
a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion
of road.

Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-western
side of the public road adjoining part Section 144,
Waimea East, Block VI, Waimea Survey District, con-
tained in Certificate of Title, Volume 57, folio 294, and
as shown on the accompanying plan”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the north-western side of the portion of road (described in
the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-
western side of the portion of Victoria Place, adjoining
Lots 10 and 11, Block XII, D.P. 97, Township of Burn-
side, being parts Sections 69 and 70, Lower Kaikorai
District”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a
building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the north-western side of portion of Victoria Place (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet
from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

Appointment of Member of Medical Council under Medical
Practitioners Act, 1914

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section three of the Medical Practitioners Act,
1914, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Charles Ritchie Burns, M.D. (Univ. N.Z.), F.R.C.P. (Lond.),
to be a member of the Medical Council under the aforesaid Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 23rd day of June, 1943.
