—NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION—
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of JAMES WRIGHT AND SON, LIMITED
IT is hereby resolved, as a special resolution this 14th day of June, 1943—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily as a members’ voluntary winding up, and that WILLIAM BURGOYNE TAVERNER, of Dunedin, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.”

THE PERPETUAL TRUSTEES ESTATE AND AGENCY COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED
I, ALFRED IBBOTSON, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
- That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
- That calls to the amount of 18s. (eighteen shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £22,500 has been received.
- That the amount of moneys received on account of Estates under Administration during the six months ended 31st March, 1943, is £342,488 8s. 9d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of Estates under Administration during the six months ended 31st March, 1943, is £431,769 1s. 3d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of Estates under Administration during the six months ended 31st March, 1943, is £88,914 19s. 1d.
- That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of April last were debts owing to sundry persons by the company—viz: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £257,197 8s. 4d.; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £15,120; other securities, £256,943 13s. 6d.; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit, £26,744 11s.; cash at bank, £16,667 0s. 10d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Patea County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the acquisition of land adjacent to the Ohine Road and described in the First Schedule hereto—for the purposes of a gravel-pit, and also to take an easement over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in the said Council full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for the Council’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and that such right-of-way shall be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and for the purposes of such respective public works the land described in the First Schedule and the easement aforesaid over the land described in the Second Schedule are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and of the said right-of-way is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council situated in Egmont Street, Patea, and is open to inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land and the said easement must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk at the Council Office, Egmont Street, Patea.
