At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of June, 1943
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road declared to be Government road:—
A. R. P. Adjoining road adjoining
0 0 18·01 Part Waimapihi Block; edged neutral.
0 0 21·45 Part Waimapihi Block; edged purple.
Situated in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District. (S.O. 20580.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110607, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

The South-western Side of Portion of Duke Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of June, 1943
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, viz. :—
"That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-western side of the portion of Duke Street adjoining Section 72 and part Section 73, Block XXXIV, Town of Dunedin, such land being comprised and described in Certificates of Title 60/112 and 293/122";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Duke Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE south-western side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Duke Street, adjoining Section 72 and part Section 73, Block XXXIV, Town of Dunedin. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117071, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117146, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Main Highways Board on the nineteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, viz. :—
"The Main Highways Board, being the local authority having control of the Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the north-eastern side of portion of the said road adjoining part of Part 6 of Section 22, Takaka District, Block X, Waitapu Survey District, as shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 115985";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of road situated in the Nelson Land District, known as the Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway, fronting part of Part 6 of Section 22, District of Takaka, Block X, Waitapu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115985, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to subsection eight of section thirty-nine of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Amendment Act, 1939, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby consent to the registration under the said section thirty-nine of a certification trade-mark in the name of the Cable Makers’ Association in Class Eight in respect of electric cables, pursuant to application No. 37182, advertised in the Patent Office Journal of the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.
