to be Registrar of Electors and Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Pahiatua for the purposes of the Electoral Act, 1927, and its amendments, and the Returning Officer for the Pahiatua Licensing District for the purposes of the Licensing Act, 1908, and its amendments, on and from the 1st day of June, 1943.

to be Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Kauangaroa, on and from the 24th day of May, 1943.

Declaration of the Result of Election of Producers’ Representatives on the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee

I, MAY WAREHAM, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of four (4) producers’ representatives for appointment to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee established by the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1940, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the following four (4) producers to have been duly nominated for the said vacancies:—

Northern Ward—
Llewellin, Donald Irving.
Llewellin, Sydney Irving.

Southern Ward—
Eden, Felix Ashton.
Warnes, Charles William.

As the number of candidates nominated for either ward does not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled, I therefore declare the said Donald Irving Llewellin, Sydney Irving Llewellin, Felix Ashton Eden, and Charles William Warnes to be duly elected for appointment to such office.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to Jack Douglas Fries, of Tauranga, and Jack Walter Meyers, of Wellington.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to Thomas Meldon, of Wairoa, and Eric O’Neill, of Waimate.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-motors, shall not apply to Peter Rudsits, of Taumarunui.

The Hamilton Milk Delivery Scheme, 1943, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hamilton Milk Delivery Scheme, 1943, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Hamilton Milk Delivery Scheme, 1942† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).

  2. The principal scheme is hereby amended by inserting after clause 5 of the Schedule the following clause:—

“5A. All supplies of milk under Government contracts are exempted from this scheme.”

The Wanganui Bread Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Wanganui Bread Delivery Scheme, 1942, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Wanganui Bread Delivery Scheme, 1942† (hereinafter referred to as “the principal scheme”).

  2. Clause (9) of the principal scheme is hereby amended (a) by revoking the words “H. Bevin, Baker, Tawa Street, Gonville, Wanganui” (being a party to the scheme), and by substituting the following therefor: “Rennie’s Bakeries, Ltd., 137 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui”; and (b) by revoking the words “Windley, Mrs., Tawa Street, Gonville” (being a wholesale purchaser allotted to vendor H. Bevin), and by substituting therefor the following: “Mrs. Rockell, Bignell Street, Gonville.”
