Land taken for Public Works

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public works, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of June, 1943.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to or intersecting the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 29·1 perches, more or less, being Section 16, Block IX, Moawhango Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1802/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. plan 20013.)
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL those areas in the Wellington Land District, Waimarino County, containing a total area of 53 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Sections 10, 11, 12, Block IX, Moawhango Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 435, folio 184, Wellington Registry. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1802/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered purple. (S.O. plan 265/8.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1943.

Revoking in part Proclamation setting apart Crown Land in the Auckland Land District for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection two of section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and published in Gazette No. 52 of the nineteenth day of June (page 1866), one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, setting apart the said land for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
