Hauraki Plains County Meat Delivery Scheme, 1943
WHEREAS by a notice (hereinafter referred to as “the said
notice”) published in the Gazette on the 25th day of February,
1943, at page 233, the Minister of Transport, pursuant to Regulation 4
of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, provided for the
Hauraki Plains Meat Delivery Scheme, 1943 (hereinafter referred to
as “the scheme”):
And whereas it is desired to amend the scheme by a readjustment
of the authority for certain of the deliveries of meat authorized by
the scheme:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Transport, pursuant to
Regulation 5 of the said regulations, doth hereby amend the said
scheme by adding to the Schedule thereof the following clause:
“(4) It shall be a condition of this scheme that the award
described in the last preceding clause shall be deemed to be extended
in its terms so as to apply to all kinds or methods of delivery of
meat other than delivery over the counter.”

Withdrawal of Dangerous Drugs Prohibition in respect of Registered
Medical Practitioner
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1927,
and clause (11) of Regulation 7 of the Dangerous Drugs
Regulations 1928, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health,
acting on the recommendation of the Medical Council, do hereby
withdraw the prohibition dated the 30th September, 1942, and
published in the Gazette on the 8th day of October, 1942, at page
2469, whereby Arthur Edward Gladstone, Registered Medical
Practitioner, of Alexandra, was prohibited from issuing prescriptions
for the dispensing of dangerous drugs.

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of
certain Grades

Wellington, 27th May, 1943.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regula-
tions 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel
to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the
Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial Grade and Commercial
Grade are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. loose bushel.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st June to 30th
June, 1943:

Hawke's Bay Special Egg Marketing Notice No. 1
PURSUANT to the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1942
(hereinafter referred to as “the regulations”), the Minister
of Marketing hereby declares and directs as follows:
- This notice may be cited as the Hawke's Bay Special Egg
Marketing Notice No. 1. - This notice shall come into force on the 12th day of June,
- The Counties of Patangata, Waipukurau, Waipawa, and
Hawke's Bay, together with all boroughs and town districts included
in that area, are hereby declared to be the Special Egg Marketing
Area for the purposes of the regulations. - In this notice—
“Authorized distributor” means the Hawke's Bay
Co-operative Farm Products, Limited, operating at
premises on and having its registered office at 1013
Plunket Street, Hastings. - No eggs shall be sold by way of wholesale within the Special
Area except by the authorized distributor or its agent acting under
the authority of and in accordance with the directions of the Minister. - All eggs for sale by way of wholesale within the Special Area
shall be delivered to the authorized distributor or its order, and
shall be accounted for in such manner, at such prices, subject to
such deductions (if any) whether for commission or otherwise, as
the Minister from time to time directs, either generally or specially. - Except through the agency of the authorized distributor or
its agent, no person shall, within the Special Area, purchase or
accept any eggs for sale for retail whether in the form in which they
are received, or any other form, or as part of any meal or commodity.

Kaitaia Swamp-drainage Area.—Penalty on Overdue Rates
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 1st June, 1943.
IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and
the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments, the
ratepayers within the Kaitaia Rating Area are hereby notified
that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the
year ending 31st March, 1943, unpaid on the 6th July, 1943.
Rates may be paid at any money-order office, or to the
Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, P.O. Box
2205, Auckland C. 1.
