WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and subject to the determinations as to borrowing and repayment therein set out, consent was given to the raising by the Kaitaia Town Board (hereinafter called "the said local authority"), of a loan of one thousand two hundred and thirty-six pounds (£1,236), to be known as "Water-supply Supplementary Loan, 1941": And whereas the said loan has not yet been raised, and it is expedient to extend the term as specified in clause six of the Order in Council within which the said loan or any portion thereof may be raised:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby vary the determinations aforesaid in respect of the said loan by prescribing that no moneys shall be borrowed under the consent given by the said Order in Council after the expiration of four (4) years from the date thereof.

Licensing Imperial Chemical Industries (N.Z.), Limited, to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land below Low-water Mark at Maraetai as a Site for a Wharf, and prescribing Dues for the use thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the Imperial Chemical Industries (N.Z.), Limited, of Wellington (hereinafter called "the company"), which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Maraetai, as shown on approved plans marked M.D. 2845 and 4118, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown on the said plans, such license to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto; and doth prescribe that the dues and rates specified in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the company for the use of the said wharf.
FIRST SCHEDULE
(1) This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 22nd day of May, 1943.
(3) The premium payable by the company shall be one pound (£1), and the annual sum so payable, ten pounds (£10).
(4) The master of all vessels discharging ballast at the said wharf shall deposit such ballast above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
