Special Order.

THE Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board doth hereby, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, and the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and their respective amendments, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of twenty-three thousand five hundred pounds (£23,500) as a special loan (to be known as “Loan No. 20, 1943, £23,500”) for the purpose of repaying part of the Board’s Loan No. 6 of £25,000, borrowed by the Board from the Auckland City Council out of the proceeds of the consolidated loan authorized by the Auckland City Loans Consolidation and Empowering Act, 1921, and which matures on 1st January, 1943.
The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board convened by requisition of the Chairman dated the 10th day of December, 1942, and held on the 17th day of December, 1942. It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 24th day of December, 1942, and the 6th day of January, 1943, and the Auckland Star on the 30th day of December, 1942, and the 12th day of January, 1943. It was confirmed at a special meeting of the Board convened by resolution of the Board on the 17th day of December, 1942, and held on the 19th day of January, 1943.
The common seal of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board was hereto affixed this 19th day of January, 1943, in the presence of—

I, WOOLF SANDERS, of Auckland, Leather Worker, heretofore called and known by the name of Woolf Bomberg, hereby give notice that on the 15th day of January, 1943, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of Bomberg and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of Sanders, and further that such change of name is evidenced by a deed-poll dated the 15th day of January, 1943, filed in the Supreme Court at Auckland under No. 12/43.
