Declaring that the Banks of Portion of the Raroa Stream in Block III,
Waimana Survey District, Whakatane County, shall be protected.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section two
hundred and seven of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the banks of the
Raroa Stream (as described in the Schedule hereto) shall be protected.
SCHEDULE.
The banks of that portion of the Raroa Stream, in the Auckland
Land District, within the area of 1 acre 2 roods 13 perches, being
part Section 1, Waimana Settlement, Block III, Waimana Survey
District. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 112733, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured grey.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 6th day of April, 1943.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the
Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
three.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 23Β·5 perches.
Being part Rural Section 161 (City of Christchurch) (Canterbury
R.D.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115868, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 6th day of April, 1943.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of April,
1943.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the Waipa County Council stopping the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped:
3 acres 2 roods 14 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments 382 and 386, Mangapiko
Parish, and part Lots 31 and 33, D.P. 20887, being Allotments
239, 243, and part Allotments 237 and 238 and 243A, Puniu
Parish.
Situated in Block II, Puniu Survey District (Auckland R.D.).
