CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Town Land in Otago Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, 7th April, 1943.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 10th May, 1943.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 12th May, 1943, at 10.30 a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.
NOTE.-This land is offered in terms of section 153 of the Land Act, 1924, which provides that no right to any mineral under the surface shall pertain to the leasee, whose rights shall be to the surface soil only.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Queenstown Borough.—Otago Mining District.
SECTION 19, Block XXXVIII : Area, 1 rood 1·8 perches. Capital value, £130 ; half-yearly rent, £3 5s.
Weighted with 8s. (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing.
This section is situated a quarter of a mile by metalled road from Queenstown Post-office, School, and Wharf. Easy sloping land, providing an excellent building-site commanding a view of the reserve and gardens.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 19th May, 1943, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Lake County.—Town of Wanaka.
SECTION 100, Block IX : Area, 1 rood 24 perches. Upset price, £50.
This section is situated 12 chains from Wanaka Post-office, and is of a somewhat hummocky nature, but with some levelling would make quite a good building-site. The half-value of 3 chains boundary-fencing is included in the upset price.
