Revoking a Proclamation declaring French Somaliland to be an Enemy Country for the Purposes of the Enemy Property Emergency Regulations 1939 and the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations 1939.

A PROCLAMATION:

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Enemy Property Emergency Regulations 1939 and the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations 1939, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 100 of the twenty-sixth day of the same month, proclaiming and declaring French Somaliland to be an enemy country for the purposes of the Enemy Property Emergency Regulations 1939 and the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations 1939.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of March, 1943.

Recreation Reserve in the Wellington Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1943.

Present:

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Nukumaru Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Nukumaru Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 28Β·6 perches, more or less, situated in Block 1X, Nukumaru Survey District, being part of the Native Land Court Subdivision known as Pakaraka 113, shown on a plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington as No. 19584, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 492, folio 259 (Wellington Registry).

Cancelling the Reservation over Portion of a Reserve in Town of Charleston, Nelson Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1943.

THE HON. D. G. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for public-utility purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
