Major A. D. Copeland, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is granted the acting rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while employed as a General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade. Dated 12th December, 1942.

Brigadier (temp. Major-General) N. W. McD. Weir, C.B.E., relinquishes the temporary rank of Major-General on being seconded to the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Dated 9th December, 1942.
