Land taken, Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken, and Crown Land set apart, for Public Works.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held from His Majesty the King by Alfred Percy Southey, Percy Alfred Southey, and Arthur Bernard Southey, all of Manaia, Farmers, under and by virtue of the lease registered under number 21016 in the Land Transfer Office at Wellington, are hereby taken, and that the Crown land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, for public works ; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
