The Ashburton Milk Delivery Notice 1943, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby amend the Ashburton Milk Delivery Notice 1943† by amending the Schedule as follows:—

(a) In clause (7) by revoking the words “Albert Street,” and substituting the words “Victoria Street.”

(b) By revoking in clause (8) the name “T. R. A. Meadow” shown as delivering in Zone No. 7, and submitting therefor the name “K. E. Meaclem,” and by revoking in clause (8) the name “R. K. Kinzett” shown as delivering in Zone No. 5 and substituting therefor “B. Dennis.”

(c) By adding to clause (8) the following:—

“S. A. Edwards .. Zone No. 9, as marked in black with red edging on the plan.”

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades

Office of the Minister of Marketing,

Wellington, 1st December, 1943.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.

The prices of Preferred Commercial Grade and Commercial Grade are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. loose bushel.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st December to 31st December, 1943:—

Loose packed fresh lemons, Preferred Commercial s. d.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Declaration of Essential Industry No. 85

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby declare the Declaration of Essential Industry No. 85, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, 25th June, 1942, to be revoked, and in substitution therefor doth hereby declare to be an essential industry for the purposes of these regulations:—

All those concerns coming within the scope of the New Zealand Tea-rooms and Restaurant Employees’ award which normally provide a three-course meal including a hot roast joint, or which are tea-rooms, cafeterias, or quick-lunch parlours, whose substantial business is the provision of a meal which includes sandwiches, pies, scones, and cakes.

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 39

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 39 by inserting after the word “crushing.” the words “and burning.”

Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942.—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 60

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby amend Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 60 by deleting the words “and sand” and substituting therefor the words “sand and crushed rock.”

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 11 of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Industrial Man-power doth hereby revoke Declaration of Essential Undertakings No. 55 as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 26 on the 12th March, 1942.
