Land taken for a Public Work

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public work; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purpose of Road in Block XIII, Reefton Survey District, and Block IV, Mawheraiti Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Mata Survey District, Waiapu County

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Samuel McCosh, of Ruatoria, Farmer, under and by virtue of Renewable Lease, Volume 8L, folio 106 (Gisborne Registry), is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate or interest is taken: 3 roods 11·4 perches.
Being part Section 1.
Situated in Block IV, Mata Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4239.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117240, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
