CREDITORS’ VOLUNTARY WINDING UP.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MOORCRAFT VACUUM BREAK MILKERS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above company, held at Auckland on Friday, 16th October, 1942, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily.”

At a subsequent meeting of creditors of the company held on 16th October, 1942, Mr. HORACE ARTHUR MOORE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, was appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution.

PURSUANT to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by the company on the 19th day of October, 1942:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that FRANK LESLIE GUNN, Public Accountant, of Whangarei, be appointed liquidator.”

All persons or firms having claims against the above-named company are required to forward proof of debt to the undersigned on or before the 19th day of November, 1942, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of TELYU ELECTRIC TOTALISATORS, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above company, duly convened and held on the 22nd day of October, 1942, the following special resolution was passed:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

At the same meeting, Mr. C. FRANKLIN SANDERS, Public Accountant, Shortland Street, Auckland, was appointed liquidator of the company.

All claims against the company must be lodged with the liquidator on or before 28th November, 1942.

THE CENTRAL WAIKATO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION AMENDING SPECIAL RATE.

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Central Waikato Electric-power Board hereby resolves:—

“That the special rate made and levied on the 19th day of August, 1942, of one twenty-fifth of a penny (¹⁄₂₅d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Central Waikato Electric-power District for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on the Central Waikato Electric-power Board’s Special Loan, 1942, £25,000, be hereby amended by increasing such special rate to one-twentieth of a penny (¹⁄₂₀d.) in the pound so that the annual produce thereof shall be sufficient to yield, if necessary, £10 per centum more than the annual or other charges in respect of the said loan.”

We certify that the above is a correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Central Waikato Electric-power Board held on the 21st day of October, 1942, of which meeting each member was given not less than seven days’ notice of the date and of the proposal to amend the aforesaid resolution.
