CENTRAL HAWKE’S BAY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
The Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board Supplementary Reticulation Loan, £5,000.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of five thousand (£5,000), authorized to be raised by the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board pursuant to the provisions of section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board’s area, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixtieth of a penny (¹⁄₆₀d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board District, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, and being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed by the Board at its meeting held on the 15th day of October, 1942.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 20th day of October, 1942, presented to the said Court by the Official Assignee in Bankruptcy of the property of Ernest Harold Swallow, of Christchurch, a bankrupt, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 6th day of November, 1942, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulation charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-book of Universal Sales Agency, Limited, under section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, and dated the 16th day of October, 1942, the following special resolution was duly passed :—

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Canterbury Co-operative Poultry Producers, Limited, held on the 19th day of October, 1942, the following special resolution was duly passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that CYRIL LUTON STURGE, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator of the company for the purposes of the said winding up.”
