IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
on me by the Marriage Act, 1908, and the Births and Deaths
Registration Act, 1924, I, Percy Harold Wylde, Deputy Registrar-
General, do hereby appoint
Timothy Keogh
to be the Deputy of the Registrar of Marriages, and of Births and
Deaths for the District of Helensville.

Exemption Order under the Transport Legislation Emergency
Regulations 1940.
PURSUANT to the Transport Legislation Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare
that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the Motor-drivers
Regulations 1940, so far as they relate to drivers of heavy trade-
motors, shall not apply to Richard Walter Ladbroom, of Ferndale.

The Christchurch Ice-cream Delivery Notice 1942.
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regu-
tions 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice
as follows :-

This notice may be cited as the Christchurch Ice-cream
Delivery Notice 1942. -
This notice shall come into force on the Monday following
the date of publication thereof in the Gazette. -
The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided
for the said district.
SCHEDULE.
THE CHRISTCHURCH ICE-CREAM DELIVERY SCHEME 1942.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise
requires,-
"The district" means the City of Christchurch and environs
as indicated by zones marked on the plan:
"The plan" means the plan of the district deposited for the
purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport
Department at Wellington under No. TT. 3356 :
"Minister" means the Minister of Transport:
"Zone" means a zone of the district marked on the said plan.
(2) For the purposes of assisting in the administration of this
scheme there shall be a committee which shall consist of the members
constituting from time to time the Executive Committee under
Regulation 3 of the Christchurch Milk Delivery Emergency Regu-
lations 1942, together with an additional member appointed by the
parties to the scheme.
(3) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and
investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme,
to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the
committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its
own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for
amending this scheme.
(4) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the
committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks
fit.
(5) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme
and the areas in which they may deliver ice-cream are as follows:-
Perfection Ice Cream Co., Ltd.
The area described generally by the zone coloured green on
the plan and the zone coloured blue on the plan, and as more parti-
cularly described by the written addresses of customers attached to
the plan.
Top Notch Ice Cream Pty., Ltd.
The area described generally by the zone coloured yellow on
the plan and the zone coloured blue on the plan, and as more
particularly described by the written addresses of customers attached
to the plan.
Apex Ice Cream Co., Ltd.
The area described generally by the zone coloured red on the
plan and the zone coloured blue on the plan, and as more particularly
described by the written addresses of customers attached to the
plan.
Pura Ice Cream Products.
The area described generally by the zone coloured blue on the
plan, and as more particularly described by the written addresses
of customers attached to the plan.

The Kowai County Milk Delivery Notice 1942.
PURSUANT to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency
Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby
give notice as follows :-

This notice may be cited as the Kowai County Milk Delivery
Notice 1942. -
This notice shall come into force on the Monday following
the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided
for the said district.
SCHEDULE.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise
requires,-
"The district" means the part of the Kowai County as
indicated by zones marked on the plan:
"The plan" means the plan of the district deposited for the
purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport
Department at Wellington under No. TT. 3357.
(2) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and
the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows:-
L. F. Harris, Bank Street, Amberley.
In the township of Amberley.
F. H. James, Leithfield.
In the areas served by the road as marked in brown on the plan
and the schools at Saltwater Creek, Sefton, Amberley, and Leithfield.
F. A. H. Penfold, Leithfield.
In the areas served by the road as marked in green on the plan,
inclusive of the townships of Leithfield and Balcairn.

The Overtime and Holidays Labour Legislation Suspension Order
1941, Variation No. 18.
IN pursuance of the Labour Legislation Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of Labour doth hereby order as follows :-

This Order may be cited as the Overtime and Holidays
Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1941, Variation No. 18. -
This Order shall be read together with and deemed part of
the Overtime and Holidays Labour Legislation Suspension Order
1941 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order "). -
The principal Order is varied as follows, namely :-
The provisions of the principal Order shall not apply to
local body drivers coming within the scope of the New Zealand
Local Bodies' Drivers' award dated the 13th day of December,
1940, and recorded in 40 Book of Awards 2177.
- This Order shall come into effect on the day of the date
hereof.

Modification Order 1941, Variation No. 11. -
This Order shall be read together with and deemed part of
the Holidays Labour Legislation Modification Order 1941 (hereinafter
referred to as "the principal Order "). -
The principal Order is varied as follows, namely :-
The provisions of the principal Order shall not apply to
local body drivers coming within the scope of the New Zealand
Local Bodies' Drivers' award dated the 13th day of
December, 1940, and recorded in 40 Book of Awards 2177, or
to the workers coming within the scope of the Wellington
(Ten-mile Radius) Female Printing Trades' Employees' award
dated the 13th day of June, 1941, and recorded in 41 Book of
Awards 577.
- This Order shall come into effect on the day of the date
hereof.
