FIRST SCHEDULE.

  1. THE vesting of the said wharf is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 13th day of August, 1942.

  3. The annual sum payable by the Board shall be 1s. payable on demand.

  4. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

  1. THE owner, master, consignee, or agent of every vessel other than oil-launches trading regularly to the port and shipping or discharging cargo shall pay to the Board the sum of eight pounds fifteen shillings (£8 15s.) quarterly, in advance.

  2. The owner, master, consignee, or agent of every vessel other than oil-launches not trading regularly to the port for the shipment or discharge of cargo shall pay to the Board the sum of two pounds (£2) for each and every trip made by such vessel.

  3. The owner, master, consignee, or agent of every oil-launch trading to the port for the shipment or discharge of cargo shall pay to the Board the sum of ten shillings (10s.) for each and every trip made by such oil-launch.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.

SCHEDULE.

Regulations for the Government and Payment of the Royal New Zealand Naval Reserves, 1937.

PART II, Article 58 (5): Cancel and substitute:—

(5) Applications by ratings in Classes A (active), A (inactive), B, and C for the award of these medals should be addressed to Navy Office, Wellington. Applications for awards to Class D reservists are to be forwarded by Commanding Officers of Divisions to Navy Office.

Article 58 (6): Insert:—

(6) Ratings in Class A (inactive) may be awarded the long-service and good conduct medal under the conditions applicable to ratings in Class A (active), except that only active service time—that is, time served under a continuous service engagement or as a mobilized reservist will reckon. Time in the Inactive Reserve will not reckon.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council changing the Purpose of the Reservation over the Ngataki Domain, North Auckland Land District.

WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is known as the Ngataki Domain, but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to change the purpose of the reservation over the said land to an addition to a Native school-site:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the Ngataki Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be a reserve for an addition to a Native school-site.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NGATAKI DOMAIN.
SECTION 43, Block V, Hohoura East Survey District: Area, 2 acres 0 roods 4 perches, more or less.
