NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Building, Christchurch, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 20th November, 1942, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Borough of Akaroa.
PART Town Section 86, Borough of Akaroa: Area, 15 perches. Upset price, £80.
This section, which has a frontage to Lavard Street and Cross Street, Akaroa, is handy to the post-office and school, and is suitable for building purposes for a shop, dwelling, or flats. The improvements, which go with the land, comprise sound concrete foundations, sewer connection, old fencing, and shed.
Conditions of Sale.

Cash: One-fifth of the purchase-money on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, together with £1 title fee, within thirty days thereafter.

Deferred Payments: A deposit of £10 of the purchase-money and £1 ls. license fee to be paid on the fall of the hammer, the balance by equal half-yearly instalments of principal and interest extending over a period of ten years, but with the right to pay off at any time the whole or any part of the outstanding amount.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
