Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, Kaitieke County, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 1·83 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI, Kaitieke Survey District, being Section 12 (formerly part Section 11), Block VIII, Town of Waimarino. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 62/43, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Wellington plan S.O. 20901.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of October, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a public school.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken : 2 acres 0 roods 23·7 perches.
Being Section 3.
Situated in Block X, Porangahau Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2069, red.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114920, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District, to be Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1942.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be Government road : 22·93 perches.
Adjoining part Lot 12, D.P. 8279, being part Waimapihi Block.
Situated in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District. (S.O. 20580.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

Portion of Unformed Road, in the County of Akaroa, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1942.
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Akaroa County Council on the twenty-ninth of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, viz. :
“ That the Akaroa County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Akaroa, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of the portion of unformed road adjoining part Lot 2 on Deposit Plan 9733, part of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 429, folio 56, Block IV, Okains Survey District, part Rural Section 359, as the same is shown on the tracing prepared by Mr. J. L. Davis, of Christchurch, Registered Surveyor”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of unformed road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE.
The south-eastern side of all that portion of unformed road situated in the Canterbury Land District, County of Akaroa, fronting part Lot 2, D.P. 9733, part Rural Section 359, Block IV, Okains Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115158, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
