Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block VI, Ngaere Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Wellington – New Plymouth Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land dealt with :—

A. R. P. Being
0 1 19·1 Part Railway Reserve ; coloured orange.
0 3 14·1 Part Railway Reserve ; coloured sepia.

Situated in Block VI, Ngaere Survey District. (S.O. 7954.)

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113121, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of September, 1942.

Additional Land taken for a Public School in Block XII, Orahiri Survey District, Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two.

0 0 28·3 Part Pukeroa-Hangatiki 4b No. 2 Block ; coloured yellow.
0 3 28·4 Pukeroa-Hangatiki 4b No. 3 Block ; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XII, Orahiri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31722.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 115208, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of September, 1942.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed street described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 2384, Town of New Plymouth : Area, 13·03 perches.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District containing by admeasurement 28·83 perches, more or less, being part Sections 512 and 513, Town of New Plymouth. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2502D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 7646.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of September, 1942.
