(3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee,
the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the
manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and
investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme,
to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the
committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its
own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for
amending this scheme.
(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme the
committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks
fit.
(6) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme
and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows:—

The Medical Supplies Notice, 1942, No. 10.
PURSUANT to Regulation 6 of the Medical Supplies Emergency Regulations 1939, I, Michael Herbert Watt, Medical Supplies Controller, do hereby direct and give notice as follows:—

This notice may be cited as the Medical Supplies Notice 1942, No. 10, and shall come into force on the day next following the date of publication hereof in the Gazette.

In this notice, unless inconsistent with the context, “dextrose” means Dextrosum as described in the British Pharmacopoeia.

No person shall sell or otherwise dispose of, or offer or agree to sell or otherwise dispose of, dextrose by wholesale to any person except—
(a) A merchant dealing in dextrose only by way of wholesale;
(b) A registered medical practitioner;
(c) The proprietor of a pharmacy within the meaning of the Pharmacy Act, 1939;
(d) A Hospital Board;
(e) The licensee of a registered private hospital: or
(f) An organization specially approved by the Medical Supplies Controller. -
No person shall sell or otherwise dispose of, or offer or agree to sell or otherwise dispose of, dextrose by retail except pursuant to a prescription signed by a registered medical practitioner and for the treatment of some individual named in the prescription.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
APPLICATIONS to take fish for sale have been received from G. R. H. Tulloch, 25 Silverton Street, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin, by means of the fishing-vessel “Boojum,” using set-nets and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Dunedin; and from H. Zidich, Wellington Street, Picton, by means of the fishing-vessel “Joyce,” WN. 49, using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, hand-lines, and crayfish-pots, catches to be landed at Picton.
Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 1st October, 1942.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
Applications have been received from J. W. F. Climo, Havelock, Marlborough, for a variation in the conditions of his industrial fishing license to enable him to operate the 9 h.p. 28 ft. fishing-vessel “Stromboli,” using set-nets, drag-nets, long lines, and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Havelock; and from M. J. North, Havelock, to take fish for sale by means of the fishing-vessel “Perry,” PN. 19, using set-nets and drag-nets, catches to be landed at Havelock.
Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 1st October, 1942.
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear.
An application has been received from Hollywood Shoes, Ltd., Lorne Street, Auckland, for an extension of its existing license to permit the manufacture of children’s footwear, sizes 3–9 (infants’), 10–13 (children’s), and 1–5 (maids’) by the cemented and pump processes.
Any persons who consider they will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application, and who wish to make representations accordingly, must furnish them in writing not later than the 24th September, 1942.
